Denterlein began working with Community Servings, a home-delivered meals program for the chronically ill, with the goal of shifting its reputation as a healthcare leader, rather than a food delivery provider.
Leveraging Community Servings’ white papers and other publications as a base, Denterlein created a campaign around the “food as medicine” concept. As a first step, Denterlein invited a handful of local, prominent reporters to a private meeting with CEO and President, David Waters.
Denterlein secured coverage in the Boston Globe, Boston Magazine, WBZ News, Worcester Telegram & Gazette and an op-ed in MetroWest Daily news. Community Servings’ profile as a health care entity also drew the attention of “Doctor be Dancing” a national figure, raising money for good causes – gaining further coverage on NBC Nightly News and WHDH Channel 7.
