Regis College sought to raise its public presence to support enrollment, fundraising and faculty recruitment goals.
Denterlein operated on two paths, conducting a comprehensive communications audit to develop an overarching communications strategy and developing a plan for internal communications staffing going forward. As part of this process, Denterlein focused on several specific strategy areas: maintaining President Antoinette Hays’ strong leadership position and developing a forward-looking thought leadership platform, establishing a strategy for better social media engagement and developing a steady drumbeat of ongoing press.
Denterlein secured two op-eds by President Hays in Commonwealth Magazine and The New England Journal of Higher Education, an enormously positive Executive Profile of President Hays in The Boston Business Journal and five additional news stories covering Regis’ creation of a satellite campus in Lawrence. These followed on broad coverage highlighting Regis’ cutting-edge, campus-wide use of digital communications, its programmatic and campus expansion and what The Boston Globe Business section called “Regis’ Remarkable Turnaround.”
